Altitude Services recently showcased its state-of-the-art 6m X 50m altitude pool cover (pictured above) at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast.

“It was very encouraging” said Altitude Services General Manager, Rod Cedaro. “I presented to about 60 of Queensland’s leading sports administrators and then showed them, and the assembled media, the pool cover. Everyone was so supportive and positive it clearly illustrates the enthusiasm with which this initiative is being welcomed with on the Gold Coast.”

The Gold Coast is scheduled to host the next Commonwealth Games in 2018 and Altitude Services have already well progressed discussions with Super Centre management to construct a luxury 5 star 32 bed altitude hotel at the Centre.

“We’re hoping the pool cover will be just our starting point. With the Pan Pac Swimming Championships currently being conducted on the Gold Coast we’ve already had interest from international swim teams in the technology, we believe that the hotel has incredible potential to attract athletes from all over the world to train on Queensland’s magnificent Gold Coast” commented Cedaro.
